The 2011 Exhibition will be located in Bays 13 & 14 of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Use of the purpose-built bays combined with generous exposure through the current program ensures exhibitors will have maximum exposure to Congress delegates.
As with previous programs, all morning and afternoon teas and lunch breaks will be held in the exhibition area. The Welcome Reception on Thursday evening will also be held in this area.
A trade ‘passport’ system will be incorporated to this year’s event whereby all attendees will be issued an Exhibition floor plan or ‘passport’ detailing each Exhibitor at the 2011 Congress. Delegates are encouraged to visit each Exhibition Stand to have their ‘passport’ stamped in order to go in the draw to win complimentary registration for the 2013 Congress.
A new feature of the 2011 Scientific Program sees additional time set aside for delegates to visit the Exhibition hall and individual booths. This time has now been booked for Thursday August 18, 2011 from 10.00am-3.00pm. Morning and afternoon tea plus lunch will be served in the Exhibition Hall during this time. The purpose of this time is to allow Exhibitors dedicated time to interact and liaise with delegates. Some exhibitors have elected to run presentations during this time. A full program is detailed below.
Exhibition presentations will take place both in individual booths and in the Exhibitors Presentation Room, Hospitality Suite 4. The Hospitality Suites are located on level 2 of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, above the Exhibition Halls. Directional signage and staff will be available on Thursday to enable interested delegates to attend sessions. Please ensure you arrive at the presentation area promptly. Presenters will be asked to strictly adhere to their scheduled time limit with a particular focus on finish time.
